In October, 2015 we were featured in the Sydney Morning Herald as one of the 52 great places to spend a weekend!

In November, 2016 we held our annual fly-in for vintage planes. Unfortunately, due to poor weather many of the planes were unable to make it to The Missions. Five brave pilots arrived safely before the gusty winds made flying unsafe. We were delighted to welcome a float plane, two vintage aircraft, and three helicopters. We thank Dick Smith for taking time to fly in - just in time for lunch.

Our thanks also to Vintage Sport Car Club for arriving in style with 50 or more beautifully restored vintage cars. Their company made the day, swelling the numbers considerably.

Our lady volunteers did a marvellous job serving tea/coffee and cakes all day in aid of The Salvos Christmas Child appeal and Kurmond Women's Refuge which is in process of being opened once renovations are complete. Our thanks to all these wonderful ladies who gave up their time to serve in this way.

Also our thanks to all our men and boy volunteers who made the whole day 'happen"!
